Program

In groups of two the participants go through the personal finances of George Tapson to gain a basic understanding of how finance works. The personal finance session is transformed into business finance and the participants will follow the development of Rust & Pipe Limited for a month.

Step by step, the participants reflect on different transactions and take decisions that influence the outcome of the company. The participants will get a solid understanding of the common terminology of financial reports and key ratios.

In addition they will also be able to do a few basic analyses using the balance sheet and the profit and loss account.
